Job Description

Proven experience with logical and physical data modeling in complex environments – spanning Hadoop, No SQL, and Teradata
Experience leading Data Modelling teams delivering multiple complex programs
Familiarity with Data Modeler tools
Financial Industry experience is highly regarded.
Agile development methodology
Experience as a data analyst user and a range of reporting tools an advantage.

This role is a combination of data architect in the planning of strategic data assets and of technical data modelers for the design and realization for Data Products

Working with business user representatives to translate their requirements into robust data structures in the EDW and Data platforms. The role will also need to support the overall Westpac data management agenda of data lineage transparency and data quality enhancement.

Few more points:
Data Modeler with Banking domain experience will be added advantage.
Metadata management and data cataloging experience
Experience in Azure is good, not mandatory
